As chair of law and legislation for the U.S. Taekwondo Union, which is governed by the US Olympic Committee, Mark was able to combine his knowledge of law and his passion for sports. Mark was one of two heads of team to the USA Taekwondo athletes who rose to second place in the 1998 Junior Championship. Mark also served as a voting emissary with the USOC and played a part in taekwondo becoming recognized as an official Olympic sport.
